Getting started
A macOS app that manages your Dokploy servers from one place (Coolify is coming). It sets up a new server, recognizes your project and deploys it, and connects your domain. It keeps an eye on backups and updates.
We are working on the first release. The release date is not set yet. Join the early access list and you will be the first to know.
macOS 14 or later, and for now Apple Silicon only. On the server side, an empty VPS running Ubuntu or Debian is enough: Kule installs Dokploy.
Security
No. Kule has no server of its own. Every connection is made directly from your Mac. None of the requests to your servers, GitHub or Cloudflare go through us.
No. The root password is used only on the first connection: Kule creates an SSH key just for that server, puts the key in Keychain and clears the password from memory.
SSH keys and your Dokploy and GitHub tokens are kept in the macOS Keychain. Your Cloudflare login is kept by the official cf tool in its own file. Your server list and event history are also kept on this Mac, and neither contains secrets.
On the first connection, the server’s fingerprint is recorded and pinned. If it changes, Kule stops the connection and warns you.
Servers
Any VPS that gives you an IP address and root access and runs Ubuntu or Debian: Hetzner, DigitalOcean, OVH… whichever you use.
A firewall (ufw), fail2ban, automatic security updates, swap and key-only SSH login, then Docker and Dokploy. It shows you every step first, and you can turn off the ones you do not want.
Dokploy for now. Coolify support is ready in the core, and its interface comes in the next release. Until then, Kule installs Dokploy on an empty server.
Projects
Next.js, Nuxt, NestJS, Express, Fastify, Hono, Astro and SvelteKit; Django, Flask and FastAPI; Rails; Go and PHP projects, Rust with Axum, Actix or Rocket, and projects that only have a Dockerfile. It also sees the databases in docker-compose. For databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB and Redis.
No. You can choose a folder on your computer. Kule packages it and sends it straight to your own server. You only need GitHub if you want an automatic deploy on every push.
Not during detection. Kule reads a few files. It does not clone the repo and does not run anything. The build happens on your server, following the plan you approved.
Domains
That is fine. Kule tells you which DNS record to enter, waits in the background for the record to spread and turns on SSL.
Traefik on your server gets the certificates from Let’s Encrypt and renews them itself. Kule turns on HTTPS when it connects the domain. For now, it does not track certificate expiry.
Pricing
The core features are free: server setup, deploying projects, and connecting domains and SSL. Multiple servers and automations are in Pro.
The Pro price is not set yet. When we announce the early access terms, people on the list will hear first, and they will try the first release before anyone else.
We'll let you know when Kule is out.
